“You don’t have a choice anymore, Lynette,” Greg said, his jaw tightening. “If you don’t testify against Bethany, everything falls apart.”

Lynette’s eyes flicked toward the window, searching for an escape that wasn’t there. “I already told you,” she whispered. “Bethany didn’t do what you’re accusing her of. I won’t lie.”
